Hello!! Thanks for taking a minute to check out our website. Just a little background info for you. My husband and I have been avid collectors for almost 30 years now. We both love and respect the craftsmanship and hard work that went into each piece that we discover. Our passion lies in old pine with original paint and finishes and all that goes along with that.
Our home, which you see above, is a 1790 federal home. One of the original planter homes in our area. The Old Meeting House sits next to it. This unassuming little building was the first "church" that the planters met in when they arrived here from New England in the mid 1700`s. Finally getting enough money together they built a beautiful church which sits just down the road. It was then the building was purchased by the owner of our house. At the time he was the sheriff of the county and had it moved here where it still sits since 1802.
What an ideal spot for an antique shop! The building itself is a wonderful testament to the craftsmanship of the early settlers and it makes a super backdrop for the antiques we discover. If you love old pine, hooked rugs, MicMac Indian backets, early iron, treenware and more, then please feel free to visit us!
